Valley of Growth (2024) follows two women climbers, one a veteran and the other a novice, working parallel to reshape the climbing community in an ever-evolving landscape. Within their individual journeys of personal growth, Kate Rutherford and Kiyomi James aim to close the divide between nature and humanity as they fall into their new roles of mentorship.

As the Director of Photography and Color Grader, this documentary led me to connect with people from all stages of life over our shared love for the environment, through the setting of Yosemite National Park. This film asked me to balance producing compelling footage while keeping up with professional climbers (as a VERY novice climber), but I never like to back down from a challenge.
